My father taught me that every good engineer must have a gross book for notes. Because he should be able to use the information obtained from previous experiments. I had used this and made about 5 gross books of handwritten notes, tables, figures. It was a blogging for
single reader)) I had two difficulties: how to find something there quite fast and how to have access to all my notes everywhere. The frist solution for me was Palm Zire, with only textual notes. And one day mobile phone and Evernote solved this issue. Unfortunately Evernote has one disadvantage - free account now is not handy for real using (marketing is working) and today when I can't pay for account due to Visa, Mastercard outages I feel that my knowledge base depends on political wether. This is bad dependency. For this reason, Obsidian is no better than Evernote He is also vulnerable. So, I had decided to make the transition to free software which is less influenced by politics. I chose Joplin. For which I can choose the cloud in which to store my notes.
